Observing and Recording

Multi Spec is quickly becoming pivitol in marine species annotation. We are developing a program that is redundant and task based. Non harful imaging will aid in creating a reliable catalog of species in the immediate vicinity of the build site. Employees can be trained on the importance of marine life and in turn data collectors can share culturally rich content with interested communities. Species Cataloging can be broken down into several compartments or buckets that can aid in annotation.

A larger vision

Benefits of Multi Spec drone exploration will help create a direct conduit between offshore windprojects to notify operators of protected species in the area relevant to the offshore wind community. Long-term effects will benefit groups such as NOAA and construction companies in the maritime economic zone by helping to create a visual frame of reference to keep protected species safe from harm.

Conservation with consideration

Inclusion is a core value and belief at MultiSpectral and our extended grant team. We believe that our example of leadership and inclusion can be powerful platforms for social change, particularly diversity in scientific research. Our goal is to promote a higher purpose and drive the concept of equality and provide the ability to experience the joy of scientific research for all. Creating a meaningful culture of equality lends itself to a broader learning experience and therefore reach with valuable novel information that will lend itself to more involvement in science as time goes on.
